Your calculators, your control

Privacy policy

Your calculator library is stored locally. You decide what to copy to an external AI assistant, export, or share.

Last updated: October 19, 2026.

1. Local app data

CalcKeep stores saved calculator names, formulas, descriptions, units, assumptions, examples, and default values on your device. Unsaved inputs and creation drafts are temporary. No CalcKeep account is required.

We do not receive your calculator library, prompts, AI replies, or calculation inputs. The app has no advertising, analytics, or tracking, and does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.

Optional Pro subscriptions use Apple’s in-app purchase system. The app checks Apple-signed transaction and subscription information on your device to determine access. Apple handles payment information; CalcKeep does not receive your card details. Purchases and restores require your Apple Account and a connection to Apple. Apple may provide the developer with sales and financial reports.

Apple’s purchases, system services, device backups, and diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

2. External AI

CalcKeep prepares a prompt but does not send it to an AI service. If you paste it into an external assistant, that service handles what you submit under its own privacy policy, terms, and account settings.

A repair prompt includes your description, the failed reply, and the error. Review prompts before sharing them. Avoid sensitive information; use fictional example values where possible.

Replies pasted back into CalcKeep are processed locally. We do not receive a copy. See the calculation and AI notice for accuracy limitations.

3. Clipboard

CalcKeep copies prompts or error text and accepts pasted content when you choose those actions. It does not scan the clipboard in the background.

Copied text may be shared through iOS clipboard features or pasted into other apps. Check it before sharing, especially when using a cross-device clipboard.

4. Files and backups

Backups contain saved calculator definitions and default values in readable JSON. They are not separately encrypted by the app.

The app remembers a backup folder you authorize. It writes backups when requested and does not automatically synchronize them.

Your chosen Files provider or share destination may store or transfer a backup under its own policies. Exporting or sharing a backup does not send a copy to us.

5. Retention and deletion

Saved calculators remain until you delete them or the app’s data is removed. If Pro expires, your calculators remain available to view, delete, back up, and export; calculating with or editing personal calculators requires Pro. Importing a backup does not restore a subscription. Deleting a calculator does not erase previously exported backups or other copies.

Deleting the app removes its local data; iOS offloading keeps documents and data. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription: manage it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Manage separate exports, external AI conversations, and device or provider backups through the relevant service. Changing or removing folder access does not delete an exported file.

We have no server copy of your local library to recover or delete. For information you send to support, you may request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law.

6. Support and website

If you email support, we receive your address, message, and any attachments. We use them to respond, resolve issues, and review feature or template suggestions, not for advertising. Before publishing a calculator you submit, we will confirm your permission and how you would like to be credited. Support correspondence is processed through Microsoft Outlook.com and kept only as reasonably needed for resolution, follow-up, and legal obligations. Send only necessary information, using fictional values and redacted screenshots where possible.

This website has no forms, advertising pixels, embedded third-party content, or cookies set by its pages. We do not enable optional website analytics. When you visit the public website, Cloudflare Pages may process your IP address, browser details, and request information to deliver and secure it. Cloudflare handles infrastructure data and retention under its applicable policies. Opening the bundled help pages inside the app does not load the public website.

7. Security

Use a device passcode and a trusted backup destination. Anyone with access to an exported backup can read its contents. Do not store secrets in calculator names, descriptions, or examples.

No storage or transfer method can guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes and contact

CalcKeep is provided by Xiamen Auro Information Technology Co., Ltd. We will update this policy when our data practices change and explain material changes where appropriate.
