Before you rely on a result

Calculation & AI notice

CalcKeep helps you reuse calculation rules. It cannot determine whether a rule is correct or suitable for your situation.

Calculations can be wrong

Verify important results independently.

AI can misunderstand your request, invent assumptions, or create an incorrect formula. Manual formulas, built-in templates, inputs, and app behavior can also contain errors. Do not assume a result is correct just because the app accepts or calculates it.

Passing the app’s checks does not prove a formula is right for your situation. AI can produce an incorrect formula and a matching example.

Results depend on the formulas, inputs, numeric limits, precision, and rounding. Check current rates, applicable rules, and product instructions yourself.

Check before saving and using

  1. Read the rule. Open How it works and confirm that each formula and assumption matches what you intend to calculate.
  2. Check inputs and units. Confirm what each value means, the direction of ratios, and how percentages are entered. Unit labels do not perform conversions.
  3. Test an independently known case. Use a trusted source or an independent calculation. An example produced by the same AI is not independent verification.
  4. Review the output. Consider rounding, estimates, omitted costs, current rates, and whether the result makes sense. Check again after editing a rule or using it in a different context.

Template examples are illustrative. They are not recommended product dosages, mixing ratios, investment choices, tax rates, or other professional instructions. Use the applicable authoritative source for those values.

Important and high-consequence decisions

CalcKeep is a general-purpose calculation tool. Its content and results are not medical, legal, tax, financial, engineering, or other professional advice.

Do not use it as the sole basis for decisions involving medication, emergencies, safety-critical work, hazardous materials, legal or tax obligations, investments, or other situations where an error could cause injury or substantial loss. Use an appropriate authoritative method and qualified professional advice where needed. For product quantities and mixtures, follow the specific manufacturer’s instructions and safety requirements.

If something looks wrong, stop relying on that calculator until you have checked the rule and result. Report a reproducible issue using fictional numbers and without sharing sensitive information.
